Frankie Paul

Frankie PaulBorn Paul Blake in 1965, he first sang at a Salvation Army school for the blind being influenced by Dennis Brown and Stevie Wonder. Having learnt the piano, drums, and guitar while still in school, the artist known as Frankie Paul made his first recording aged 15 entitled 'African Princess' in 1980. Some of his hit singles for King Jammy included 'Cassanova', 'Sara', 'I Know The Score'. Capable of covering reggae classics or contemporary American R&B material, Frankie Paul continues into the new millennium as a tremendously active presence on the reggae scene.
