Born in Canada, Leroy Gibbons went to Jamaica during the mid 1980s to ply his trade as a singer. In 1988, King Jammy's unleashed him as a secret weapon within the dancehall arena! Performing regularly on the Jammy's soundsystem, Gibbons sang many cover versions and oldies including 'Cupid' and 'This Magic Moment'. Several single releases followed along with the successful album 'Four Season Lover' as produced by King Jammy.
