Robert Lee
Born in the Waterhouse district of Western Kingston, Jamaica, Robert Lee first started singing whilst at school and in church. His recording debut was the track called 'Leader' released on the 'Fish Tea' record label. After being introduced to King Jammys by John Wayne, Pampidoo and Tollo T, he recorded 'Lovely Lady', 'Fantasy World', 'Masterpiece' and 'My Life Is Like A Dream'. Major success followed with the King Jammys produced sound system classic 'Midnight Hour'. Being responsible for searching for new talent, artists including Goofy, Dynamite, Harry Toldler, Devonte and Elephant Man all got audtions at the studio.
Currently in the UK and preparing an anthology of his earlier works for King Jammy's, Robert Lee continues to record and release quality reggae music, either on his own 'Maroon' recording label or for other producers worldwide.
