Yami Bolo
Born Rolando Ephraim McLean in Kingston, Jamaica on October 1, 1970. Known as the singer Yami Bolo, he has collaborated with a range of classic talent in the Reggae industry, including Sugar Minott, Capleton, Augustus Pablo, Tapper Zukie, Sly and Robbie, and King Jammys Studios. His focal momentum as a Rasta Reggae artist has driven him to record hundreds of songs professing the Rastafarian faith as taught by the Ethiopian Orthodox Church throughout his three decades in the reggae industry. Since his rise in the Reggae world, Yami Bolo has accomplished great objectives. Yami Bolo has been performing Rastafarian works since the mid 1980's touring with some of Reggae's greatest groups including the Rockers crew. His exceptional Rastafarian inspired music is loved around the world, particularly in conscious Reggae niche markets like Japan, Australia, Britain, France, USA and Germany. As the Reggae Ambassador, Yami Bolo has taught Rastafari theology at world renowned universities, like SUNY in New York State and MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
